I did not know that the Miss World 2013 coronation night would be today, much more so at early in the morning. I woke up at 7:30 am and when I got on Facebook, my newsfeed were full of the pageant's updates. At that time, the top ten contestants were already named. I searched online for live streaming and could not find a good site to watch it. Then I asked my hubby if he could do a search for me on our TV since I don't know yet how to operate it, we just got a new provider. My hubby told me what to do and I found where I could watch the pageant contest soon after. I was able to watch when they announced the top five then it shortly followed the question & answer portion.

Miss Philippines, Megan Young, was crowned Miss World 2013 in Bali, Indonesia. She made history as the first Filipino ever to win the title since the Philippines debut in the pageant. The twenty three year old beauty bested 126 other candidates and became the successor of Miss China. Miss France finished second while Miss Ghana came in third. Completing the top six were: Miss Spain, Miss Brazil and the People's Choice, Miss Gibraltar.
As a Filipino myself, I am very happy she makes our country proud. Congratulations to you, Megan!
