Silk Wrap Body Lotion from Alpha Hydrox

Silk Wrap Body Lotion
My hubby and I did not have to battle the long and frigid cold winter here in northern Minnesota this year. During the winter season I have a constant battle with my skin. I thought that after spending almost four months in my native country the Philippines, that the snow on the fround would have melted by the time we got back. When we arrived on March 19th, we still had humongous pile of snow in our yard. It still feels like winter and both of us are having dry skin problems. I had almost given up thinking I could have beautiful skin during the winter months. Recently, I had a chance to try out a few different body lotions and one of them is the original Silk Wrap Body Lotion from Alpha Hydrox. I have only applied it once on my legs before bedtime and it seems to be helping. At first I worried that my skin might break out and I would look worse. The cracks on my skin seemed to improve and I had no itching or rashes. I plan to keep using it and hope I will continue to improve.

I have never tried using any skin care products with AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids). These acids are found naturally in many foods like citrus fruits, nuts and milk. Alpha Hydrox gets their AHA from glycolic acid which is from sugar cane. Glycolic acid easily penetrates the skin surface to remove excess cells and help moisture retention in the surface layers.

This Alpha Hydrox Silk Wrap Body Lotion is non greasy and it doesn't have much scent at all. I have a friend who has been asking me if I know of any beauty and skin care products that have less scent or no scent at all. She gets headachy when she uses the scented stuff. I will have her check out the Alpha Hydrox products. All of their AHA products are sold for between $10- $15 making them perfect for ladies on a budget. For their latest deals, make sure you like Alpha Hydrox on Facebook or follow them on Twitter.

Disclaimer: The above reviewed product(s) was a free sample and I have received no other compensation for this review. I am under no obligation to give either a positive or negative review and the opinions are strictly those of myself and my husband. You may noticed that the majority of reviews are quite positive. In our opinion that is because those manufacturers with the best products are much more likely to give out free samples in order to promote their products.
