Plugged Up

We are having problems again for the second time with our wood burning stove in the living room. Yesterday my hubby was having a hard time to get the fire started. I thought the wood was wet and that was why we couldn't get the fire started. My husband told me that the wood wasn't the problem, it was that this time the chimney cap was plugged up. He checked for the possibility of the stove being plugged up again and took out the ash but it wasn't the same problem as before. Every time he open the wood burning stove the smoke would come out. It also came out of the stove pipe just below the ceiling. While I was in the kitchen I thought that the smoke was coming from stove door because it was getting more and more smoky inside the house. When I complained about the smoke, we realized where it was coming from and we could tell that it was coming from a different place than before. I just hope that it won't be a major operation this time.
