First Day of 2009

I will be very busy today. It is the first day of the year 2009. I don't know what lies ahead but I'm excited. I will do a lot of cooking today. I will be cooking mainly Filipino dishes. We had some sparkling wine last night, but after half a glass I started feeling tired. I asked my hubby if I could go to bed but he said I needed to stay up because it was New Year's Eve. I went online because I knew if I would watch tv with him I would fall asleep. A few minutes later, he then told me that he changed his mind and was ready to go to bed. So we missed the New Year's Eve countdown. I bet when the clock hit midnight, we were both snoring already :D.
