My hubby and I are in the process of remodeling our home. I have been looking through the internet at different sites that show decorating ideas for people who are remodeling or even contractors or interior designers. I found a really interesting site called InvitingHome.com. They have all kinds of really cool products from interior home lighting to things like architectural details and even unique furniture.
They have what they call an inspiration gallery that gives all kinds of ideas for decorating your home in a way that emphasizes style and elegance. They talk about a concept they call "naked interior syndrome". They have the homeowner try to visualize what their house would look like without all of furniture and window treatments. Most people end up with a picture of barren walls and windows and a very stark and cold picture.
