Ash

Yesterday my hubby decided to cut the wood burning pipe to get started cleaning and fixing our wood burning stove in the living room. I just couldn't believe what I saw. A big pile of ash completely blocked the pipe coming out of the top of the stove. No wonder the wood burning stove wouldn't work. Even when we tried to burn a piece of paper it wouldn't burn. It would just turn black and smoke. And the smoke would come out of the door even when it was closed. It was because the chimney was completely plugged.
